Designed in collaboration with IBK Design and TFH Development, this Tenafly, New Jersey project reflects a thoughtful balance of warmth, proportion, and understated luxury. Natural wood cabinetry creates a calm, organic foundation, with consistent grain and clean detailing that feels timeless and cohesive. The restrained material palette allows texture and craftsmanship to shine, resulting in an environment that feels elevated yet welcoming. A generously scaled island anchors the room, functioning as both a practical workspace and a natural gathering spot. Upholstered counter stools invite everyday connection, while the waterfall stone countertop adds a subtle sense of drama. Behind the cooktop, a softly veined stone backsplash delivers an architectural moment without overwhelming the design. Open shelving brings lightness and balance, offering room for curated display. Warm brass fixtures and hardware introduce contrast and refinement, enhancing the natural materials throughout. Oversized glass globe pendants and large black-framed windows flood the space with natural light, completing a design that feels effortless, inviting, and perfectly suited for both daily living and entertaining.
