Innovative Design for Kitchen & Home
Our Story
Some kitchens are simply rooms. At Urban Homes, we make every space the heart of the home, designed for living, entertaining, and a touch of everyday luxury. Urban Homes started in 2005 in NYC’s Meatpacking District, but our roots go back even further. We’re a third-generation family of kitchen specialists, with skills passed down through hands-on training, not just a name. Each generation brings its own expertise, from classic cabinetmaking to modern European precision. You can see that heritage in the details our clients notice: how smoothly a drawer closes, how carefully a finish is chosen, and how every design is refined until it feels just right.Today, we use that same family approach for both modern and traditional kitchens, combining careful craftsmanship with classic European style. Our team serves New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the greater Tri-State area, working on private homes, multi-unit buildings, and upscale retail spaces. Every project begins by getting to know the client’s lifestyle, architecture, and vision so we can create a truly customized result. Urban Homes also offers a curated selection of custom kitchen cabinets, bath cabinetry, closets, interior doors, and luxury furniture. Each piece is designed to be practical, look beautiful, and stand the test of time. From the first meeting to the final installation, clients enjoy a smooth, full-service experience with our skilled design team. That’s why Urban Homes is a leader in modern kitchen design in NYC and luxury custom cabinetry in the Tri-State area.
